Our facility is closed until further notice

Due to IU’s decision to move classes online and encourage remote working, the Passport Acceptance Facility closed at 4 p.m. on Friday, March 13, and will remain closed until further notice.

We will still be available to answer questions via phone or email.

Submit your passport application

When you apply for a U.S. passport, you have to submit your application at one of the Department of State's designated acceptance facilities. We are one of two such facilities in Monroe County.

Passport-style photos

There are several different types of applications (for example, U.S. passport, visa, or OPTthat require you to submit a passport-style photo. A passport-style photo includes certain limits on what's allowed on your face, clothing you can wear, the type of background, and the lighting. Our experts will make sure that your photo meets all of these requirements.
